The following residential training courses are conducted in this Institute every year after proper planning:
 1. Foundational training for Junior Assistants /Assistants - 60 Days:
Eligibility: 
1. Probationers, recruited by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, as Assistant and Junior Assistant, in Tamilnadu Ministerial Service and in the Tamilnadu Judicial Ministerial Service.

2. Assistants promoted from the post of Typist from 27.11.1992, as per the Government Letter No. 54401/94 Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Training-I) Department.

3. Junior Assistants promoted from the post of Record Clerks and Office Assistants and Junior Assistants appointed on compassionate grounds.

Maximum age limit is 53 years.
2. In-Service Training for Deputy Tahsildars - 28 Days:
Eligibility:

Deputy Tahsildars from Revenue Department who are below the age of 50 years are eligible to undergo the Inservice Training for a period of 28 days.
Documents to be submitted:
  1. Relieving Order from the respective office
  2. Executed Bond (as enclosed in the call letter)
  3. Copy of the Regularisation order for Compassionate Grounds appointment candidates.
  4. Casual Leave eligibility particulars.
  5. Identity Card
